Product Details
An elegant 36" long christening gown with alternating panels of silk and organza down the front of the skirt. Each panel is bordered in hand-faggoting (the open squares with the thread bridges). Each panel of organza has hand embroidered flowers on it. The bodice also features a panel of embroidered organza. The bodice buttons down the back, but from the waist on down it is open in back to easily hold the baby during the ceremony and to help the gown flow much better. A sash ties in back in a large bow. Fully lined inside, so no need to add a slip. Includes a matching bonnet. The short sleeve's cuffs and the bottom of the skirt are trimmed in fine cluny lace (looks like crochet). Dry clean only. Made of 100% silk, exclusive of trim. The color is a slightly off-white eggshell, preserving the beauty of the natural silk.
